Mr. Marita was elected as Managing Partner in 2009. He has overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the firm. He has extensive experience in the areas of corporate and personal tax, financial planning, and business valuation. He advises clients on income, estate, and gift tax issues. Mr. Marita has overseen audits, reviews, compilations, and general accounting services, in addition to cash flow analysis, projections, and valuations.
Mr. Marita has developed a strong background in several specialized areas including:
- Corporate and individual tax planning and research
- Corporate consolidations and business combinations
- Tax credits and planning at the federal, state, county, and local level
- Multi-state tax research and planning
- Representation of clients before the Internal Revenue Service, state, and local taxing agencies
